How To Schedule Your Delivery Appointment

We strive to get orders processed and shipped quickly. Unfortunately, we have no control over transit delays. There are some things you can do to keep the delivery process running smoothly.

You can help get your delivery sooner by making sure you provided a good phone number for the freight company to reach you.  When your order reaches the local freight terminal, they will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. You must sign for the delivery.  The estimated or scheduled delivery date shown on your tracking info is typically the date your order will arrive at the local freight terminal.  This may not be the date you receive your order.

You may be able to speed up delivery by contacting the freight company directly to schedule a delivery appointment. You should be able to do this once there is an estimated delivery date associated with your order.

Generally, our shipment confirmation emails are sent daily by 6:30 pm Eastern time.  Please watch for your tracking number in that email. When you receive your tracking email, click on the tracking number and it will take you to the freight company website.   Each company is a little different when you track your order, but in general if you call the customer service number and provide your tracking number to the representative they either give you the local terminal number or schedule the appointment for you.  Below are the best ways to contact our usual carriers.

FedEx Freight: You can find contact info for the local terminal by clicking the City/State link under the destination address on the FedEx page with your tracking information.  When you call FedEx, have your tracking number handy and select option #3. If you cannot find the local terminal number, try FedEx Customer Service at 1-800-463-3339 (option #3).
