Deliveries for fireworks are a little different. Here’s what you need to know...
Be Reachable
-
Use a shipping phone number on your order that you will answer or that has working voicemail.
-
Make sure your voicemail box isn't full.
-
The freight company will call you when your shipment reaches the local terminal to set up a delivery appointment.
-
NOTE: Most freight companies do not text. Make sure you answer your phone or respond to the voice mail.
Watch For Your Shipment Confirmation Email
-
Shipment confirmations are sent daily, usually by 7:30 PM Eastern.
-
Includes your tracking number—click it to go to the freight carrier’s website.
Understand Your Tracking Info
-
The estimated delivery date you see when you track your order means the shipment should arrive at the local freight terminal by that date, not your home.
-
Your delivery date is confirmed when you schedule the delivery appointment with the freight company.
Speed Things Up (optional)
-
Once you see an estimated delivery date on your tracking, you can call the freight company directly.
-
Provide your tracking number to set up your appointment or request a terminal pickup.
-
Terminal pickups require authorization by us to the freight company. Ask the terminal to contact the shipper for authorization if needed. This process is usually quick and can save you time. It can be a more flexible option, but you will need to pick up in person and show your photo ID.
